Dishwasher

POSITION SUMMARY

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all DHC small-wares, equipment, and dish areas to support safe and efficient restaurant operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Dishwasher will work productively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high speed of service. This role requires working closely with other Team Members, interacting with Guests as needed, following all safety and security procedures, and completing additional duties as assigned by the Restaurant Management Team.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DAVE’S HOT CHICKEN TEAM MEMBER

• Greet guests, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a consistently positive and helpful attitude, including answering questions as needed
• Work collaboratively with teammates to prepare items on the DHC menu while following cooking instructions, safety procedures, and sanitary requirements
• Operate kitchen machinery and equipment such as ice cream dispensers, fryers, warmers, and other food-service equipment
• Ensure daily restaurant cleanliness by clearing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, washing, sanitizing, and disinfecting kitchen utensils and high-touch areas, and servicing restrooms
• Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally and calmly, delivering a “blow their minds” experience that keeps guests coming back

MUST HAVES / QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and opening and closing shifts
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, work in a fast-paced environment, bend and stoop, and lift 50–75 lbs comfortably
• Ability to work in close quarters and around heat
• Positive attitude while performing all duties
• Strong commitment to guest satisfaction
• Effective communication skills with teammates and the Restaurant Management Team
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Access to a telephone or other reliable method of communication with management and teammates
