Position Overview:
We’re looking for a dependable and experienced Crew Lead to oversee daily tree service operations. The ideal candidate can lead and motivate a crew, operate heavy equipment safely, and ensure each job is completed to company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and motivate crew members on job sites
- Ensure safe work practices and compliance with company procedures
- Operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers, loaders, and other tree service equipment
- Drive and haul trucks and trailers with equipment loaded
- Assist with ground work, cleanup, and debris removal
- Communicate with customers and supervisors on-site progress
- Perform basic maintenance and daily inspections on equipment and vehicles
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in tree service, chainsaw operating, and rigging methods
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lead a team and maintain a positive work environment
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
