This role involves supporting clinicians with direct patient care activities, including preparing patients for exams, recording vital signs, assisting with treatments and procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. The Medical Assistant/Treatment team member will help manage medical records, update patient information in the system, and maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies in a clean and organized manner. Daily responsibilities also include coordinating patient flow, communicating clearly with patients and clinical staff, and following established protocols and infection control standards. The role requires consistent attention to detail, adherence to regulatory and hospital policies, and a strong commitment to patient service.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Medical Assisting skills, including supporting examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology to accurately understand and document clinical information.
- Candidates should possess experience in a Medical Office setting, including scheduling, patient intake, and coordination of visits.
- Candidates should possess Patient Care skills, with the ability to provide safe, respectful, and compassionate support to individuals of all backgrounds.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Medical Records management, including accurate charting, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Relevant qualifications such as completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and current certification or registration (where applicable) are beneficial.
- Additional beneficial skills include strong communication, reliability, ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team, and basic computer proficiency (EHR systems).
