We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing the flow of products and materials in and out of our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in order handling, shipping, receiving, and forklift operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, recording shortages and rejecting damaged goods.
- Organize and maintain the storage area to ensure that inventory is stored safely and in an accessible manner.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring they are securely packaged, labeled, and documented according to company standards and customer requirements.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner.
- Record and manage all shipping and receiving data; maintain accurate records for inventory management.
- Handle order entry duties, ensuring that all orders are accurately entered into the system and processed in a timely fashion.
- Comply with all safety and health regulations related to shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
