Registered Nurse (RN) – OBGYN Practice

Southern OBGYN is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our practice. We are a busy, established OB/GYN practice dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized care to our patients throughout every stage of their lives.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working closely with patients and providers, thrives in a fast-paced office environment, and takes pride in providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to obstetric and gynecologic patients
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with patient care and in-office procedures
- Perform patient triage and respond appropriately to patient concerns
- Communicate with patients by phone and through electronic messaging
- Review and relay lab, imaging, and other diagnostic results
- Provide patient education and instructions
- Administer medications and injections as ordered
- Assist with coordination of patient care, referrals, and follow-up
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
- Work collaboratively with providers and other members of the clinical team
- Maintain a professional, compassionate, and welcoming environment for our patients
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Previous OB/GYN or women's health experience preferred
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy clinical setting
- Compassionate and professional bedside manner
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable working with electronic medical records
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to providing excellent patient care
