Responsible for direct patient care in a clinical setting, environmental, and organizational tasks.
- Monitoring and directing patient flow; accompanying patient to exam rooms; assisting patients as needed with walking, transfers, dressing, collecting specimens, preparing for exam and/or procedure; collecting patient history; assisting physicians/nurses and various procedures; electronic charting; relaying instructions to patients/families; answering calls and providing pertinent information.
Completion of the Clinical Medical Assistant program preferred.
