Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and care, ensuring patient safety
- Provide comprehensive oral health education tailored to individual patient needs, emphasizing preventive care
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
- Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment to uphold the highest standards of infection control
- Monitor patient comfort throughout procedures, offering reassurance and support as needed
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional regulations
- Proven experience in performing dental cleanings, radiography, and patient education
- Strong knowledge of oral health best practices, infection control protocols, and dental software systems
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A positive attitude combined with a passion for promoting healthy smiles and improving patient experiences.
Pay: $53,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
