What are the responsibilities and job description for the Database Developer/Administrator position at Southern New Mexico Catholic Education Foundation?
Key Responsibilities
1. Donor Database Development & Management
- Assist in building and maintaining the SNMCEF donor database
- Ensure donor records are accurate, current, and confidential
- Generate reports and analyze donor data to inform fundraising efforts
2. Alumni Database Creation for LCCS (Las Cruces Catholic School)
- Collaborate with school staff and volunteers to create a comprehensive alumni database
- Support strategies to engage alumni and build a lasting community network
3. Donor Development & Engagement
- Assist in cultivating relationships with current and potential donors, including individuals, businesses, and foundations
- Support planning and execution of donor appreciation and cultivation events
- Research prospective donors and help develop outreach strategies
4. Marketing & Organizational Support
- Provide assistance with marketing efforts including email outreach, flyers, and social media content
- Help support the development and implementation of organizational growth initiatives
5. Grant Writing & Research
- Assist in identifying local, regional, and national grant opportunities that align with SNMCEF’s mission
- Support the preparation and submission of grant proposals and related materials
- Maintain records of grant applications, deadlines, and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with donor or grant management software is a plus
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
Work Location: Remote
