The opportunity
The ITS Asset Management Specialist will report to the Director of IT Asset Management. You will oversee software and hardware assets, maintaining accurate repositories, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies. Main responsibilities include managing software licenses, optimizing software usage, controlling inventory, and handling both hardware and software purchases. Additionally, you will support onboarding and offboarding processes. The ITS Asset Management Specialist collaborates with the ITS Asset Management Team to track, manage, and optimize assets throughout their lifecycle. You will work remotely in any of our approved states. #LI-Remote
What You'll Do:
- You will manage SNHU's ITS assets, ensuring accuracy and completeness of asset information.
- You will conduct regular audits and inventory of ITS assets to align with company policies and industry standards.
- You will maintain reports to track ITS asset usage, inventory, and compliance to prevent overspending or shortages, and ensure we follow regulatory standards while improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- You will analyze ITS asset-related issues and discrepancies to resolve and ensure data accuracy.
- You will collaborate with ITS teams and customers to ensure accurate tracking and management of ITS assets.
- Create documentation to support the ITS asset management lifecycle processes and responsibilities.
- You will complete daily software and hardware request tasks within the ITAM tool (ServiceNow).
- You will manage the daily and long-term strategic inventory control and oversight of technology-related assets within the University.
- You will work with multiple partners to ensure smooth acquisition processes, aligning with budgeting and financial requirements.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
- 1 years of experience within IT Asset Management
- Knowledge of Customer-focused ITAM.
- Knowledge of Software and Hardware Asset Management principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of product use rights for publishers such as Microsoft, Adobe, and TechSmith.
- Experience with MS Office tools, requiring experience in Excel.
- Experience with ServiceNow.
- Experience with HRIS Technologies like; (Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft)
- Experience with SharePoint.

Compensation
The annual pay range for this position is $51,608.00 - $82,590.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $57,027.00 - $77,155.00.Exceptional benefits (because you're exceptional)
