As the Lead Technologist, MRI, you will perform all aspects of magnetic resonance imaging while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. You will work closely with the MRI supervisor to oversee daily department operations, coordinate staff development, and handle administrative duties to support seamless clinical workflows.

About The Job
As the Lead Technologist, MRI, you will perform all aspects of magnetic resonance imaging while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. You will work closely with the MRI supervisor to oversee daily department operations, coordinate staff development, and handle administrative duties to support seamless clinical workflows.
What You’ll Do
- Perform comprehensive MRI examinations—including orthopedic, cardiac, abdominal, lung, and breast scans—according to established protocols.
- Review patient medical information, reconcile physician orders, and complete essential documentation such as consents and questionnaires.
- Ensure high-quality exams are submitted for radiologist interpretation and complete required follow-up paperwork and quality control records.
- Maintain proficiency with electronic and scheduling systems including EPIC, PACS, and Life Images while strictly adhering to HIPAA privacy regulations.
- Assist radiologists with invasive procedures, coordinate training for new personnel, monitor department supplies, and initiate equipment service calls when needed.
- Graduate of two years of Radiology Technology training in an AMA-approved school meeting ARRT registry requirements in Radiology.
- Holder of current ARRT(R) certification and State of NH Licensure, with ARRT(MR) certification required or obtainable within one year of hire.
- Experienced professional with a minimum of three to five years of direct MRI experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and clinical computer applications like EPIC and PACS.
- Skilled communicator with a demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain composure and compassion in all patient and team interactions.
