What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician/ Veterinary Assistant position at Southern New England Veterinary Care Inc?
Southern New England Veterinary Care, a small animal house call practice based out of Uxbridge MA is seeking Technicians. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year experience working as a Veterinary Technician in a standing hospital, or prior experience working in a mobile or house call practice, be personable and a motivated self-starter.
Duties include but are not limited to: direct and indirect patient care, client education, medical record keeping and general patient treatments and charting, assisting with client communications, answering phones and client call backs. Experience in low stress animal restraint is a plus.
We are a small but busy practice with immediate openings for the right candidates. As we are a house call practice all employees must be capable of standing, sitting, kneeling and riding in a car for long periods of time. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and carrying equipment and supplies.

Pay: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour
