The Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) announces an examination process to create an eligibility list to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Senior Human Resources Specialist in the Human Resources Department. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to four (4) months.
Responsible for implementing and supporting employee benefit programs—including retirement, health, wellness, and supplemental plans—through professional HR analysis to ensure compliance, competitiveness, and alignment with organizational and employee needs; performs related work as assigned.

Education, Training, and Experience: - Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Business/Public Administration, or a closely related field, and two (2) years of experience providing administrative, technical, or program support in a human resources environment; OR an equivalent combination of education training, and experience.
Certificates, Licenses or Certificates:
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Nevada Notary Public commission within six (6) months of employment may be required based on position assignment.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, Professional in Human Resources certification, such as the PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar credentials, within two (2) years of employment may be required based on position assignment.
