Hourly Entry Level Service Technician - HRL

All entry level technician candidates must have at least 1 year experience in the motorcycle or automotive industry and a killer drive.

Basic understanding of computers is needed as this is used regularly. This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and move at a fast pace. Moving of vehicles by hand is also required. In addition to being physically demanding this position is mentally demanding and often exhilarating. Those with confidence and a positive attitude in addition to a keen attention to detail are most successful at Mountain Motorsports.

1 years of Motorcycle/Powersports or Automotive Dealership experience preferred

OEM certifications preferred.

Provide your own basic tools.

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Maintain organized, clean and safe work area.

Perform test rides and other tests.

Follow all safety rules and guidelines, as determined by Georgia law and management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Language Skills to include the ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents.
• Reasoning Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Educations Requirements 1 -2 years related experience and/or training.
• Written Communication to include basic computer knowledge i.e. typing and the use of scheduling systems

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Frequent standing, walking and sitting.
• Continuous oral communication.
• Continuous hearing at a conversational level.
• Frequent telephone and computer usage.
• Working under deadlines.
• Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent pushing of up to 100 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Occasional exposure to changes in temperature and humidity.
• Frequent working with and around others.
• Frequent work around mechanical parts.
• Frequent exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Frequent work around moving objects, (including dogs and other service animals).
• Noise level is low to high.
