What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loader, 1st Shift - Recline Designs Plant 1 position at SOUTHERN MOTION INC?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Must be able to read daily schedule and prepared Bills of Material and pull warehoused parts and inventory to be place on buggies on a per style basis.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must learn to read daily schedule and various styles listed.
- Must begin each shift completing a daily check list for forklift operations.
- Must have knowledge and ability to learn how to perform all loader job duties.
- Powered Industrial Truck “Forklift” certification required (successful completion required upon acceptance of position).
- Properly wrap all buggies and skids prior to loading.
- Load trailers with frame buggies and skids for transporting to upholstery plants.
- Unload supply trucks and submit paperwork of office.
- Communicates with frame mill manager or lead as needed on questions or problems that occur while performing job.
- Use all equipment in a safe manner to ensure the safety of self and co-workers.
- Maintain clean and organized workstation.
- Assist others when necessary.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
