Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and facilities through preventive maintenance and repairs. When not performing Maintenance duties then will perform general machine operations throughout the shop where needed. With a strong understanding of lean manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, filters, belts, etc.
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues before they become major problems
- Repair and maintain machinery and equipment
- Keep accurate maintenance records
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using schematics and technical manuals
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix issues promptly
Skills:
- Working on machinery - mechanicllay inclined
- Able to work independently (self-starter) but also closely with the Director of Operations
- Basic plumbing
- Respond to situations regarding urgent repair needs and serviced minor issues or scheduled services accordingly
- Pneumatic and hydraulic repairs
- Lean Manufacturing understanding
