Duties
- Operate and monitor presses to produce high-quality print materials.
- Set up press equipment according to job specifications, including prepress tasks such as layout.
- Conduct regular quality control checks throughout the process to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the process, including equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with supervisors to ensure that product meets client expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the press area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Fabricate necessary components for jobs as required.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Press Operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Experience with quality control measures in a production environment.
- Knowledge of machining processes related to molding equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
