Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations and employees
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors
- Maintain positive relationships with insurance companies
- Monitor workflow and ensure efficiency and quality of work
- Maintain body shop equipment
- Assign repair work to technicians for maximum efficiency
- Approach repair planning with a sense of urgency and detail to avoid waste and rework
- Work closely with the sales and production staff to ensure the goals and benchmarks of our multiple DRP relationships are met
- Ensure information in management system is accurate at all times to reflect vehicle status
- Ensure complete disassembly of vehicles to allow for accurate and complete estimates prior to repairs
- Maintain excellent technician and painter productivity
- Control repair order flow and monitor open repair orders and work in process
- Must hold customer satisfaction and quality to its highest standards while maintaining respectable cycle times
- Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or higher
- Embrace technology
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Detail oriented with critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Estimating knowledge/Experience Bodyshop Management system experience, CCC1 a must
- Ability to Delegate effectively
- Communicate well with employees and customers
- Lead a good team
