We're growing and looking for an experienced Small Engine Mechanic to join our professional service team. If you enjoy diagnosing and repairing outdoor power equipment and want to work in a fast-paced dealership environment, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and service outdoor power equipment
- Perform engine diagnostics, tune-ups, carburetor repairs, and electrical troubleshooting
- Repair zero-turn mowers, walk-behind mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, generators, compact tractors, and snow equipment
- Complete warranty repairs following manufacturer guidelines
- Accurately document repairs and inspection findings
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Communicate repair needs with the Service Advisor and Parts Department

Qualifications
- Previous small engine repair experience is REQUIRED
- Experience with Toro, Exmark, STIHL, ECHO, Cub Cadet, Bad Boy, Mahindra, Kawasaki, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton, Honda, or Kawasaki EFI systems is preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
- Ability to read service manuals and wiring diagrams
- Own a basic set of professional hand tools
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Typical Weekly Hours
- Slow Season: 40–45 hours
- Busy Season: 45–50 hours
- Spring Peak Season: Up to 55 hours

Pay: $27.38 - $32.98 per hour
