Mobile Phlebotomist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing venipuncture and specimen collection from patients in various locations, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to laboratory procedures. Your expertise in phlebotomy and laboratory techniques will be essential in providing accurate and timely results for diagnostic testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood sampling and specimen collection from patients using proper venipuncture techniques.
• Ensure the safe handling, processing, and transportation of specimens to the laboratory.
• Maintain a high standard of patient service by providing compassionate care and addressing patient concerns.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during specimen collection.
• Document all procedures accurately in accordance with clinical laboratory protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and laboratory procedures relevant to phlebotomy.

Skills

• Proficient in phlebotomy techniques, including venipuncture and blood sampling.
• Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and clinical laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to patient care and specimen processing.
• Ability to apply aseptic techniques effectively during specimen collection.
• Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care.
• Familiarity with anatomy knowledge relevant to blood collection sites.
