Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including but not limited to general dentistry, endodontics, and pediatrics.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
- Take and develop X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and documenting vital signs accurately.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, fostering a positive patient experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
- Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and practice systems to enhance patient care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is necessary
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential.
- Familiarity with medical records management and vital signs monitoring is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in assisting with various dental procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members.
