What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Southern Marsh Collection?
Southern Marsh is a premier clothing manufacturer based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, known for our high-quality Southern-inspired apparel. We’re looking for a dependable warehouse associate to join our team at our distribution center. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse.
Schedule:
Full-time, 30 hours/week
Day shifts only, no weekends
Monday through Friday: 8AM - 5PM
What you’ll be doing:
- Manual process of picking and packing orders
- Hand-loading shipments (FedEx and others)
- Stocking shelves and keeping the workspace clean
- Using our inventory system to track and move products
- Other general warehouse tasks as needed
What we’re looking for:
- Must be on your feet for the full shift in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse
- Must be able to read and speak English clearly
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent
- US citizenship or Green Card
- Reach truck or forklift experience is a plus, but not required
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation
- Basic computer skills
- Able to pass a drug test
