What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Lifeguard position at Southern Management Companies, LLC.?
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
A Lifeguard to monitor and supervise aquatic activities. They are in charge of making sure all users follow the pre-established security measures to avoid injuries and other accidents. Lifeguards are also responsible for responding to any emergency that may occur in a timely manner.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Provide overall safety for pool patrons and guests
- Collect pool passes
- Understand and have the ability to explain pool policies
- Maintain pool and bath house cleanliness
- Responsible for passing all Health Department and supervisor inspections
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager and/or Supervisor
- Contribute to team/company engagement efforts
JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Excellent perception and awareness
- Ability to work well with others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
Must hold a current American Red Cross Life Guarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid Certification.
