Job Description: Event Setup
Position Summary We are a growing event rental company seeking a reliable, hardworking Event Setup & Logistics Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, being outdoors, and contributing to the success of weddings, parties, and special events. You will assist with delivering, setting up, breaking down, and maintaining event rental equipment including tents, tables, chairs, and dance floors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with loading, delivering, setting up, and breaking down event rental equipment at event sites
- Set up large tents, tables, chairs, and dance floors according to event layouts
- Safely drive and operate a box truck to and from event locations
- Work as part of a team to ensure timely and efficient event installations and breakdowns
- Clean, inspect, and organize rental equipment upon return to the warehouse
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space
- Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
Schedule
- Seasonal/full-time hours during peak season (late spring through fall), with part-time or reduced hours in the off-season if desired.
- Early mornings, some evenings, occasional over time and some weekend shifts are required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a box truck (or willing to learn)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Previous experience in event setup, construction, moving, or warehouse work is a plus (but not required)
Work Environment
- Combination of outdoor event sites and indoor warehouse work
- Physical, hands-on role with varying schedules, including weekends and early mornings as needed
