*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at a busy retail lumber yard. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, provide customer service, and count merchandise.
*Responsibilities*
- Utilize forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries
- Move goods to and from storage areas
- Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist in other warehouse duties as needed
*Requirements*
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role
- Valid certification to operate forklifts
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations
- Ability to interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Experience with shipping, receiving, order picking, and materials handling
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and best practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
