Ultimate responsibility for guest satisfaction and financial performance of the new Italian restaurant in Green Hills.

Essential Functions
- Ownership of the service mission statement, always lead by example.
- Primary coordinator of recruiting, hiring, coaching, training and creating a culture of teamwork.
- Supervision and mentorship of associates to ensure all is done in accordance with Southern Hospitality Standards.
- Maintain a strong, highly visible and professional presence with all guests.
- Oversee operations to ensure smooth and consistent experience in all areas, high levels of guest satisfaction, quality food products and exemplary service in conjunction with managers and chefs.
- Direct oversight of the beverage program, to include purchasing and monthly inventory of all beer, wine, liquor and NA beverage product.
- Spearhead development and implementation of marketing programs to increase guest traffic.
- In coordination with the Chef, prepare and monitor annual budget, revenue goals and the expenses for the restaurant as well as producing various (weekly, monthly etc.) business volume forecasts and planning accordingly.
- Implement corrective procedures as necessary to help ensure that budget goals are achieved.
- Consistently monitor payroll and labor resource allocations to ensure they are in line with financial forecasting and goals.
- Ensure adherence to, and compliance with, all health, safety, liquor consumption, and all other food and beverage regulations. Keep current on all matters pertaining to the food and beverage industry in Nashville and across the country, particularly among similarly themed concepts.
- Ensure fully effective and efficient staffing and scheduling for the restaurant while balancing financial objectives with guest satisfaction.
- Work closely with the Chef to ensure a strong, healthy relationship between culinary and front of house team.
- Establish and uphold expectations for cleanliness, dress, decorum and other service standards, consistently monitor for adherence.
- Maintains inventory levels, ordering amounts, timing of orders, receiving, invoice settling, and equipment.
- Fully functional knowledge of the POS system, hardware, software and menu programing.
- Strong understanding of beverage program management.
- Ability and willingness to step into operations during “all hands-on deck” periods.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to keep sensitive information highly confidential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to deal professionally with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative, exercise sound judgment.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and attention to detail and carry multiple projects through to completion.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize work and ask for further clarification when necessary.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight time constraints, as well as the ability to deal with frequent interruptions, unresolved situations, frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Tennessee ABC Server Card (must be attained in first 90 days on property)
- SERV Safe certification
- Previous experience as General Manager in restaurant operations
