Lead Line Cook

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, ensuring that meals are prepared efficiently and meet our high standards of taste and presentation.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
• Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
• Assist with menu planning and food preparation for daily specials or catering events.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and cooking appliances.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
• Familiarity with dietary department requirements is a plus.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
