Clinical Director/Perioperative RN

Southern Kentucky Vascular is growing and looking for a dedicated Full-Time Clinical Director/Perioperative RN to join our passionate team. This position is for Monday-Friday daytime hours. Duties:

• Supervise all nursing roles within the ASC, including preoperative, postoperative, and recovery areas.
• Oversee and optimize the scheduling of procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and utilization of the surgery center's resources, working closely with the scheduling team to adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in patient needs, physician availability, or room capacity.
• Manage staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage in all clinical areas (preop, postop, and recovery) while optimizing labor costs.
• Act as a liaison between clinical staff, physicians, and administration to foster communication and improve patient care.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards (ACHC) across all clinical areas.

• Regularly assess staff performance, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for training and professional growth.
• Monitor procedural and staffing metrics.

Requirements:

- Valid RN license with 5 years of nursing experience.
- BLS and ACLS Certification
- Proficiency in educating patients and families on post procedural care.
- Familiarity with pain management.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

-Likely hours are M-F during the day time but we can discuss more in detail during interview.
