JOB SUMMARY: Promotes and restores resident's health by providing physical and psychological support and care to patients and their families. Responsible for providing nursing care to all patients in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Understands the role of the vocational nurse as a part of the nursing team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing for RN.
Experience:
1 year preferred.
License or Certification: Current CA RN License and CPR.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Ability to communicate clearly in both oral and written forms using the English language. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from residents, patients, physicians, peers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Neat/professional appearance
