Illinois Residency Requirement:Pursuant to the State Universities Civil Service System, out-of-state candidates must establish Illinois residency within 180 calendar days of the start date for this position.
Illinois residency requires proof of a valid Illinois Driver’s License or state of Illinois ID Card. Failure to produce the required documentation within 180 calendar days is grounds for immediate separation.

What You Will Do
- This position is responsible for managing Dining Services' large-scale student employment program, which employs approximately 200 students annually across multiple campus dining units.
- The position oversees the recruitment, onboarding, timekeeping support, basic HR documentation, and scheduling coordination for student workers.
- In addition, the position provides operational oversight of the Auntie Anne’s franchise and cashier operations for Center Court and Chick-fil-A. The role ensures consistent student labor coverage in alignment with labor pars established by other Administrator III-level leaders.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
- Six years of work experience in food service or administrative support, with at least two years in a supervisory role. (University coursework in human resources, food service, or hospitality may substitute up to four years.)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with large-scale scheduling and workforce coordination.
- Familiarity with timekeeping systems and student employment protocols.
- Valid Food Handler Certificate.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, HR, or business-related field.
- Experience working with college-aged student employees.
- Familiarity with franchise operations (e.g., Auntie Anne’s).
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
