Position Summary
Education
- Responsible for preparing the operating room and patient for the procedure, under the direction/supervision of OR personnel
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be currently enrolled in the Surgical Technologist Program
Licenses and Certification
- BLS Required
Experience and Skills
- Technical Experience: Must have completed first clinical rotation.
Role Specific Responsibilities
- Assist Surgeon.
- Prepares patient and room for the planned surgical procedures.
- Performs under the direction/supervision of OR personnel (RN’s and/or OR Technicians)
