Position Summary

• Responsible for performing radiology support and clerical duties

Principal Accountabilities

• Standards of Performance: Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Collaboration, Stewardship, Accountability, Quality

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Licenses and Certification

• BLS

Experience and Skills

• Technical Experience: 1 year medical experience preferred

Physical Activities

• Intermittent hand manipulation required

• Intermittent lifting and carrying of 50 pounds

Role Specific Responsibilities

• Transports/escorts patients per department policies.

• Ensures patients have a completed safety questionnaire for MRI Technologist review

• IV competent to assist with IV starts if needed

• Positions patients for exams with technologist

• Assists in Producing Pocket Health access sheets and CDs, uploads CDs for comparison images

• Office duties, typing and PC responsibilities as needed.

• Schedules exams.

• Orders and maintains supplies.

• Other duties as assigned
