The DSP plays a vital role in supporting individuals by assisting with daily living, safety, emotional support, and overall wellness needs in a community-based setting.

Job Responsibilities
- Assist consumers with daily living and support needs
- Promote safety, independence, and overall well-being
- Provide emotional and social support in a professional manner
- Maintain communication with supervisors and team members
- Utilize approved verbal and physical interventions when necessary
- Support consumers in community-based environments and activities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to physically assist consumers as needed
- Ability to respond appropriately in behavioral intervention situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable communication device preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
