About the Role:
We are seeking a powerhouse salesperson with a passion for interior design to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a brand-new program at Southern Heritage Home, where you’ll have the chance to shape the role, contribute to its growth, and maximize your earning potential through a base pay plus commission structure.

Whether you’re a new Interior Design graduate looking to grow your career or a seasoned sales professional with a flair for design, this role offers the chance to enhance your skills in interior design, sales, and front-facing customer service.

To be successful in this role, you must be comfortable talking with people in-person, via telephone, and via email. As a polished professional, you will be confident in your ability to provide excellent customer service and create a lasting impression with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and quickly identify their needs.
• Assist clients in furnishing their homes, optimizing spaces, and creating room plans that include furniture, lighting, and accessories.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients and local designers through the Hickory Furniture Mart’s Partners in Design program.
• Suggest complementary products to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
• Follow up with customers to close sales and ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other designers to build and grow this exciting new arm of the business.
• Use tools such as MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (experience with CAD or Revit is a bonus, but not required!).
• Represent Southern Heritage Home with professionalism and exceptional customer service.

• A background in interior design or a related field (preferred but not required).

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
