Location: Cumming, GA
Schedule: 10-25 Hours Per Week, looking for afternoons with weekday availability.
Position Type: Part-Time | Consistent Case Through Approximately 6 Months
Pay: Competitive Weekly Pay | Pediatric Home Health Experience Preferred
About the Case
Southern Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a pediatric client in the home setting in Cumming, GA.
This is a consistent long-term case for a female pediatric client born on 11/03/2021 diagnosed with FoxG1 Syndrome. The client utilizes a G-tube and mobility chair and requires attentive, skilled nursing support in the home environment.
We are looking for a nurse who values consistency, family-centered care, and building meaningful relationships with medically fragile children and their families.
Skilled Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide skilled pediatric nursing care in the home setting
- G-tube care, monitoring, and feeding support
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Ongoing assessment and monitoring of patient condition
- Assist with mobility support and positioning
- Monitor for changes in condition and communicate concerns appropriately
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with caregivers and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN License
- Current CPR Certification
- Pediatric home health experience preferred
- G-tube experience
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in the home setting
