If you're an LPN who thrives during night shift hours and wants a career that offers both challenge and consistency, Southern Health Partners has an opportunity waiting for you at the Morgan County Jail in Alabama.

We are seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our correctional healthcare team on a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend . This position works 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM , giving you the structure of full-time employment with built-in days off throughout the month.

Correctional nursing is fast-paced, rewarding, and unlike anything else in healthcare. Here, your assessment skills matter, your voice is respected, and your work has a direct impact every single shift.

?? What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care and nursing assessments
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Respond to medical emergencies and urgent healthcare needs
• Monitor chronic conditions and document patient progress
• Collaborate with providers and correctional staff
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow established protocols
• Help ensure safe, compassionate, and compliant healthcare delivery

Qualifications

? Qualifications

• Active Alabama LPN license
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Correctional, ER, med-surg, or long-term care experience is a plus, but not required
• New graduates are welcome to apply
