Southern Health Partners is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Morgan County Jail in Alabama.

This full-time position offers a 12-hour night shift schedule with every other weekend , giving you the opportunity to provide meaningful patient care in a structured, safe, and secure environment.

No hospital units. No mandatory floating. One facility. One team.

?? What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care to patients within the correctional facility
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Complete nursing assessments and monitor patients for changes in condition
• Respond to urgent and emergent healthcare needs
• Communicate patient concerns and changes in condition to medical providers
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Assist with chronic and acute care needs
• Promote continuity of care throughout the facility
• Follow established clinical policies, procedures, and standards
• Provide professional and compassionate care in a safe and secure environment

Qualifications

?? Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Alabama
• Current CPR certification
• Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the healthcare team
• Ability to remain calm and professional in urgent situations
• Commitment to providing quality, compassionate patient care
