What You’ll Do
As a nurse at Chambers County Jail, you’ll provide essential care in a secure and structured environment, including:
- Delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
- Administering medications safely and accurately
- Responding to medical needs and emergencies
- Performing patient assessments and documentation
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in the state of Alabama
- Current CPR certification
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfort working in a correctional healthcare setting
