Southern Health Partners is looking for a Part Time RN to provide required on-site nursing coverage at the Greenwood County Detention Center.
In this role, you will serve as the required RN on site and will be responsible for completing History & Physical (H&P) assessments for patients entering the facility. This is a great opportunity for an RN who enjoys focused clinical work and wants to make a meaningful impact in correctional healthcare.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the required RN on site at the facility
- Complete History & Physical (H&P) assessments for new patients
- Perform nursing assessments and evaluate patient health needs
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in health status
- Communicate patient needs and clinical findings to healthcare providers
- Provide appropriate nursing interventions and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team and facility staff
- Respond to urgent and emergent medical situations as needed
What We're Looking For
- Current and unrestricted RN license in South Carolina
- Current CPR certification
- Strong assessment and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
- Comfortable completing comprehensive patient assessments and H&Ps
- Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
