Working every other weekend, you'll play an essential role in ensuring patients receive safe, timely medications while supporting a collaborative team dedicated to quality healthcare.
Qualifications:What You'll Do
As a Certified Medication Aide, you'll help provide safe, efficient medication services and support daily clinical operations by:
- Administering medications according to certification, physician orders, and facility protocols
- Following the Five Rights of Medication Administration
- Taking and documenting vital signs accurately
- Monitoring patients and promptly reporting concerns to nursing staff
- Assisting with medication inventory, storage, and accountability
- Maintaining accurate documentation while protecting patient confidentiality
- Collaborating with nurses and healthcare providers to deliver quality patient care
- Promoting a safe, professional, and patient-centered environment
