We're seeking a Full-Time Medication Aide to join our healthcare team at the Marathon County Jail. This position offers a consistent evening schedule, full benefits, and the chance to work alongside a supportive medical team serving an often-overlooked patient population.

Full-Time | Three 10-Hour Shifts Per Week | Includes Every Other Weekend
π₯ About the Role
As a Medication Aide, you play a vital role in ensuring patients receive safe, timely, and accurate medication administration. You'll work in a structured healthcare environment where attention to detail, professionalism, and teamwork help support positive patient outcomes every day.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Administer medications according to physician orders and established protocols
β’ Monitor patients for medication effectiveness and adverse reactions
β’ Maintain accurate documentation and medication records
β’ Assist nursing staff with patient care activities as directed
β’ Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety standards
β’ Support continuity of care through clear communication and teamwork
β’ High school diploma or equivalent required
β’ Current CPR certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
β’ Medication Aide certification preferred but not required
β’ Willingness to obtain Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification after hire
β’ Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe medication practices
β’ Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
β’ Healthcare, long-term care, or correctional experience preferred, but not required
