Looking for a healthcare position where your work has real purpose? Southern Health Partners is seeking a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) to join our medical team at the Madison County Jail.

This is an opportunity to use your clinical skills in a structured healthcare environment while providing compassionate, professional care to patients who depend on you.

As a CCMA, you’ll work alongside our nursing and medical team to support daily patient care, assist with clinical needs, and help keep the medical unit running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• 🩹 Assist with patient care and clinical procedures
• 💊 Support nursing staff with daily medical needs
• 📝 Obtain and document vital signs and other clinical information
• 🩺 Assist with examinations, treatments, and medical appointments
• 🤝 Communicate professionally with patients, nursing staff, and facility personnel
• 📋 Maintain accurate medical documentation
• 🔐 Follow all facility safety, security, and healthcare protocols
• ❤️ Provide respectful, compassionate care in a correctional healthcare setting

💰 Extra Pay for Nights & Weekends

This site offers a shift differential for eligible night and weekend hours, giving you the opportunity to earn additional pay when working qualifying shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification
• Current CPR certification
• Previous clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Comfortable working in a structured correctional environment
