Essential Functions:
In this role, you will be responsible for reading and understanding daily production schedules, preparing Bills of Material, and retrieving warehoused parts and inventory to be placed on buggies on a per-style basis.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and understand daily production schedules.
- Select and identify proper packing materials for respective styles to be packed.
- Cut and set up packing materials in accordance with daily production schedules.
- R retrieve required trays and other packing materials from storage areas.
- Replenish packing materials as needed for daily production schedules.
- Lift finished goods and place them in packing trays with assistance from team partners.
- Insert end caps and other required packing materials to protect goods from damage in storage and shipping.
- Select and place padded bags over finished goods.
- Position finished goods to secure bags by stapling to the bottom of packing trays.
- Pack KD goods in boxes and close them using crimp staple guns.
- Stage packed finished goods for rollers to transport to warehouses.
- Maintain a level of performance to pack for two production lines.
- Ensure products are packed at a rate that prevents finished goods from backing up on inspection stations, hindering or slowing production.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Assist others when necessary.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Basic reading and writing skills required.
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English.
