Duties
- Perform vehicle exterior washing, including hand washing and use of automated car wash systems, ensuring a spotless finish
- Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing using automotive buffers to restore shine and remove surface imperfections
- Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and other surfaces with appropriate tools and products
- Apply window tinting techniques when required, ensuring precise application without damage or bubbles
- Operate standard passenger car equipment safely and efficiently, including manual transmissions and cleaning tools
- Maintain the cleanliness of the auto detailing facility by organizing supplies, cleaning equipment, and work areas regularly
- Lift heavy items such as equipment or vehicles safely while adhering to safe work practices to prevent injury
- Follow all safety procedures related to the use of automotive buffers, cleaning chemicals, and other detailing tools
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns professionally and courteously
- Assist with vehicle inspection processes to identify additional detailing needs or repairs
Skills
- Experience operating standard passenger cars with manual transmissions confidently and safely
- Strong knowledge of safe work practices when handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, and heavy lifting tasks
- Proficiency in vehicle paint correction techniques and automotive buffing methods for optimal results
- Skilled in automotive interior detailing including vacuuming, shampooing, and surface cleaning
- Familiarity with auto detailing equipment such as buffers, steam cleaners, extractors, and janitorial supplies
- Ability to perform exterior washing efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards for vehicle cleanliness
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances client satisfaction
- Prior experience working in an auto detailing facility or similar environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of window tinting application techniques is a plus
- Capable of driving company vehicles when necessary for transport or operational purposes
