Your expertise will drive improvements in process layouts, injection molding techniques, and statistical process control to minimize waste and maximize productivity. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as design, quality, and production, you will ensure that manufacturing processes meet both technical specifications and regulatory standards. Ultimately, your work will contribute to delivering reliable, cost-effective products that meet customer expectations and support the company’s growth objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with CNC programming and operation in a manufacturing environment.

  • Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) techniques and quality management systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Hands-on experience with new product introduction (NPI) processes.
  • Certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or related process improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Document process changes, maintain process control plans, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Train and support production staff on new manufacturing techniques and equipment usage.

Skills:

The required skills such as CNC programming and machining are essential for daily tasks involving the setup, optimization, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment to ensure precision and efficiency. Manufacturing engineering expertise allows the engineer to design and refine production processes, including plan layouts and injection molding operations, to meet production goals and quality standards. Statistical process control skills are applied to monitor process performance and implement corrective actions proactively, reducing defects and variability. Preferred skills like new product introduction experience and knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies enable the engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives and manage complex projects effectively.
