Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by offering personal care and support with daily activities. This position requires a commitment to providing empathetic care while respecting the dignity and independence of those you serve. The hours for this position currently are TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY 3PM-11PM and SATURDAY, SUNDAY 7AM-3PM.
Tasks
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing and grooming.
- Assist residents with medication. Great attention to details and Basic math skills required.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to management.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and co-workers.
- Basic math skills required.
- On the weekend, this person will be a support to caregivers and will collect trash, make beds, answer the phone, answer the call light, greet guests, assist with laundry and light housekeeping.
- Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Physical capability to lift clients safely and assist them with mobility challenges
- Responsible and reliable.. Must have reliable transportation and childcare.
We are a small assisted living facility. Our residents and staff are like family.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
