BASIC FUNCTION:
Assist in enforcing attendance laws and requirements; process and maintain attendance referrals. Provide assistance in maintaining staff attendance records. Perform routine typing and general clerical activities in support of school functions, including instructional programs, personnel and mail services.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:
- Assist in enforcing attendance laws.
- Work with juvenile court in matters involving school children.
- Process attendance referrals and send final notices as required
- Perform routine typing and general clerical activities in support of school functions, including instructional programs, personnel and mail services
- Receive visitors; answer telephone and refer telephone calls and visitors to appropriate personnel; answer routine questions according to established guidelines; schedule meetings and appointments
- Assist school secretary with receiving, sorting and distributing incoming/outgoing mail
- Assist school secretary/bookkeeper by receiving funds and ensuring accuracy of funds turned into office; turn in all counted/verified money received to school bookkeeper
- Maintains regular attendance. It is an essential job function that all employees report to work.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
