- Generate new leads through cold calls, networking, and referrals
- Meet with prospects, assess needs, and pitch tailored service solutions
- Deliver accurate estimates, formal proposals, and confident presentations
- Own the relationship—follow up, stay connected, and deliver long-term value
- Collaborate with our project managers and field crews to keep promises made
- Track all activity and opportunities through our CRM system
- Represent Southern Electrical at trade shows and industry events
- Stay sharp—keep an eye on competitors, codes, and industry changes
- 3 years of sales experience in electrical, MEP, or technical services
- Working knowledge of electrical systems and industry terminology
- Proficiency in CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience selling service agreements or recurring maintenance packages
- Familiarity with NEC codes, permit processes, and estimating software
