Your New Role
As a Commercial Electrical Project Manager, you'll oversee commercial electrical construction projects by:
- Managing projects from contract award through final completion
- Planning and coordinating project schedules, budgets, manpower, materials, and equipment
- Serving as the primary point of contact for customers, general contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
- Working closely with field supervisors and foremen to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
- Reviewing project plans, specifications, contracts, and project documentation
- Preparing, reviewing, and managing change orders
- Monitoring project costs, productivity, and overall financial performance
- Identifying and resolving project challenges while maintaining positive customer relationships
- Leading project meetings and maintaining clear communication with customers and internal teams
- Ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards
- Supporting project closeout activities, including punch lists, final documentation, and customer satisfaction
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of three (3) years of commercial electrical project management experience
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical construction methods and practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, electrical plans, specifications, and contracts
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and team members
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based project management tools
- Valid driver's license
- Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with construction management software and project management tools
- Knowledge of commercial construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and project delivery methods
- Experience managing a variety of commercial electrical construction projects
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and industry experience)
