Your New Role

As a Commercial Electrical Foreman, you'll lead crews installing electrical systems on commercial construction projects by:

  • Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of electricians and helpers
  • Planning work to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality expectations
  • Coordinating daily work with general contractors, project superintendents, project managers, and other trades
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical plans, specifications, and project documents
  • Performing and overseeing the installation of conduit, wire, panels, switchgear, lighting, controls, and other commercial electrical systems
  • Ensuring all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), project specifications, and applicable building codes
  • Training and mentoring apprentices and electricians
  • Coordinating material needs and maintaining an organized, productive job site
  • Promoting a safe work environment and ensuring company safety policies are followed

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of three (3) years of commercial electrical construction experience
  • Previous experience leading crews as a Foreman or Lead Electrician
  • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, conduit installation, and the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, specifications
  • Ability to plan work, delegate responsibilities, and keep crews productive
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to mentoring and developing apprentices and electricians
  • Dependable, organized, and committed to delivering quality workmanship
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Authorized to work in the United States
