Your New Role
As a Commercial Electrical Foreman, you'll lead crews installing electrical systems on commercial construction projects by:
- Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of electricians and helpers
- Planning work to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality expectations
- Coordinating daily work with general contractors, project superintendents, project managers, and other trades
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical plans, specifications, and project documents
- Performing and overseeing the installation of conduit, wire, panels, switchgear, lighting, controls, and other commercial electrical systems
- Ensuring all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), project specifications, and applicable building codes
- Training and mentoring apprentices and electricians
- Coordinating material needs and maintaining an organized, productive job site
- Promoting a safe work environment and ensuring company safety policies are followed
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of three (3) years of commercial electrical construction experience
- Previous experience leading crews as a Foreman or Lead Electrician
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, conduit installation, and the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, specifications
- Ability to plan work, delegate responsibilities, and keep crews productive
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to mentoring and developing apprentices and electricians
- Dependable, organized, and committed to delivering quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States
