Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring smooth functioning and tenant satisfaction
- Oversee leasing activities, including property showings, tenant screening, lease negotiations, and contract execution
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other relevant legal requirements
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite to maintain accurate data entry, rent collections, and financial reporting
- Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to uphold safety standards and aesthetic appeal
- Handle conflict management between tenants or vendors professionally and efficiently
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor property conditions and oversee repairs or upgrades as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management, real estate administration, or related fields with a focus on LIHTC or Section 8 housing preferred
- Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and legal administrative procedures
- Proficiency with property management systems such as Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants and vendors
- Effective negotiation skills for lease agreements, contracts, and upselling opportunities
- Office experience including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and administrative support tasks
- Ability to manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact while maintaining positive resolutions
- Familiarity with property maintenance practices, facilities management, and health & safety standards
